Sherry Kite tells her story of how Fellowship House, a partner agency of United Way, helped save her life by overcoming drug addiction. During her pregnancy, Sherri had to take prescription drugs when one of her kidneys shut down. She soon became addicted which led her down a destructive path soon losing her job, custody of her children and her home.
With the Help of Andre Agee, Continuing Care Coordinator for Fellowship House, Sherri learned how to overcome her addiction, regain employment and custody of her kids and support her family.
This is just one of many stories of how giving to United Way helps improves the lives of those in need within our community.
