More than one-third of households in our five-county Central Alabama region are considered financially unstable.
Help 2,500 people in Central Alabama achieve financial stability through the Financial Services Network by 2025.
We are actively developing and implementing a network of nonprofit financial-service providers — the “Financial Services Network” (FSN) — who will work together to transition low-to-moderate-income households from a state of financial crisis to financial stability.
As a major step toward addressing systemic poverty in our community, the FSN has launched a shared client-management system whereby participating organizations can not only connect their clients with programs available throughout the network of financial-service providers, but also begin tracking their clients’ progress collectively. The program promotes information sharing and collaboration among network partners by playing to each other’s strengths while giving clients easy access to the many resources available through the network.
